So, I took all these pictures, most of them with my previous crappy cell phone camera, and I've been saving them with the intention of posting them to LJ at some point, and now it's an entirely new year and why haven't I done this yet. Here we go!
Taken on February 1. NPL members will immediately get why I took this picture (it has two current noms *and* a former nom on it), and everyone else will just have to admire a plastic lid.
(NPL members will also ask why I haven't uploaded this to the NPL nom picture page where it belongs. Always nagging me!)
Taken on February 11. Crappy phone did not do it justice, but this may have been the most beautiful cloud formation in history.
Taken on February 12. Crappy phone did just the right amount of justice to this picture of the tremendous amount of snow we got last year. (Yes, it was already slush by the time I got to it. Weather works fast down south.)
Taken on June 16. You may need to turn up your contrast to make out those shadows on the wall, but I thought they were neat. The "sun" is a light fixture, the "ocean" part of a glass door, and the "palm trees" a non-palm-tree plant.
Taken on October 1. What's this? An actual camera? It came with my new phone, which I still love to pieces. This is my dad having lunch ...
... with me!
Still to come: pictures, just about as random as these, from my trip last month to see
jedusor and
projectyl in Seattle. (Yes,
jedusor, I do solemnly swear not to put off that update indefinitely.)
Can Robert keep up this terrific rate of posting something once per day in 2011? Find out! Probably no later than about January 4th!
