“Excuse, sir, but this is my armchair…”
“I beg you pardon… I was just wondering why my parlour was so untidy, and what were these appliances for… I think the Doctor has sent me to the wrong time”.
“The Doctor? Which doctor? I am a doctor, too.”
“Oh, shut up, John, he’s obviously not talking about you or any ‘normal’ doctor… Could you please make us tea? I’m sure this gentleman has a lot of things to explain. And may I ask your name, sir?”
“Of course, sorry! My name is Sherlock Holmes.”
Silence.
“And who I’m honoured to talk to?”
“My name is also Sherlock Holmes.”
THUMP- THUMP- THUMP -THUMP
“Well, sirs, I’m sorry to skip the tea, but a blue cabin is going to materialize here in few seconds, and it’s my cab to come back home. It’s been a pleasure!”
When John finally appeared with a tray with tea and pastries, he only found Sherlock sitting in his armchair with wide eyes and trembling lips.
“Sherlock, where’s our guest? I was downstairs looking for some pastries, and I heard a very strange sound coming from here…”
“I’m not going to talk about it. Never.”
