Update to my 101 things to do before I die.

May 02, 2010 20:15

I figured it was a little past a year since I last did this, so since I've completed a few (or remembered completing some I missed originally) I decided to update. Current count is 21/101 completed.

1. Sell a book I wrote.
2. Backpack across Europe.
3. See the Northern Lights in Iceland.
4. Build a snowman.
5. Go to New England in the autumn.

I love how you've been to Stonehenge and seen the Northern Lights in Iceland, but never seen a play on Broadway in New York. Come visit the city, I'll take you to a play :) I'll take you to the Met while we're at it.

Personally, I've got some good memories of #83, and #35 is not as exciting as you'd think -- camels are nasty creatures. Don't get one angry.

What's worse is I've been to New York twice, and still done neither. Maybe next March when I have my layover on my way back from Iceland.

Are you still satisfied with the list on the whole?

Any list I would have made last year would not be my list for this year.

More or less. I might change a few goals here and there, but most of them are just things that appeal to me in general. It's not a "these are what I plan to do in the next year" list, but more of a "these are things I'd like to do at some point" list.

Yeah, I understand that this is a long term list, but I often go through perspective changes that would render a list I made somewhat obsolete within a few months. I blame that on my INTJ-ness though.

Yeah, I'm almost your polar opposite. I'm an E/INFP. I switch-hit on the E/I spectrum (I get a dead-even result between those two whenever I take the test).
