When Angie described it, I thought it'd have rock formations like the ones in the western US (which are cool). But the "alienness" of it really surprised me (pleasantly).

When are you ever going to venue out to Taiwan? =)

I really want to go to Vietnam!! But with my job situation being precarious, I doubt I will leave the US this year. I still have quite a bit of vacation to use, but I don't want to take any trips that are more than a week, which overseas trips generally are :(

It feels like I know so many people who went to Vietnam recently. But yeah, if you can only do 1 week, it's probably not worth going all the way to Asia.
