Baseball/Superbowl/Starcraft

After seeing the Santana trade yesterday, I was thoroughly disappointed with the Twins and how little they got. Two different offers from the BoSox and the Yankees' offer was better than what they got. So I have no idea what they were thinking. But I guess I can hope that paying a pitcher that much for such a long contract will be a bad move.

Anyway, the Superbowl is looming and I'm actually not too excited. First of all, there's the "Federer factor" of the Patriots. With the real Federer actually losing, there is some hope, but not much. Next, both teams are pretty unlikable, in my opinion. I will wind up rooting for the Giants (who I rooted against every playoff round) just because the Pats are worse. But the Pats/Giants game in week 17 was actually really good, so maybe the Superbowl will be okay.

And we (me, non-fat Steve, Chris, Mike, others depending) have been playing Starcraft (the computer game and the boardgame) a good amount recently. We normally play the boardgame on Sundays before DnD and the computer game during the week. I guess I'll have to admit that Blizzard doesn't totally suck. Although, I'm not sure which one (board or computer game) I like more.

In other news, my hand are getting to their ultra-dry, cracked, winter version. I guess the dryness of winter coupled with the excessive amount of times I wash my hands at work aren't good for them. At least my knuckles didn't start cracking yet.
