things I learned this weekend

--it's been a long time since I drank half a bottle of vodka.

--knowing more cool people is always good. eljay: bringing neato people together for lols irl.

--as much as I hate the schick "bush" commercial they've been showing, at least it's better than this one:

(although at least the british just went all out with it....you gotta give them that.)

--mochi feels really really weird.

--the Reds and Padres apparently are out to start a Harlem Globetrotters-style league, from the way they played on saturday.

--shiny black stall walls in public restrooms are disconcerting. I never really wanted to pee in the 360 room from "what not to wear".

--it's not cool for adults to encourage children being loud in the halls of a hotel at 2am. even if they are all cute little pretty pretty princess cheerleaders.

--I like doing dorky things like going to the top of the tallest building in Cincinnati. and looking out on neighborhoods that haven't much changed since that building went up. and making fun of Kentucky. ;)

--I have less than a week to write a toast for a wedding. hmmm....

--I also like doing dorky things like watching the america miniseries thing on the history channel. now I finally know why I know the name Crispus Attucks.

--I apparently also like making "inglourious basterds" jokes while watching revolutionary war reenactments.

and now....gratuitous ponytailed baby shot!
