Abed/Britta Anthropology 101 with shipper goggles

The screen caps are from Rawr-caps @ http://rawr-caps.livejournal.com/132358.html
Thank you!

(Sidenote: This is actually for last season, but I noticed it now, so I'll just lay it out there. http://www.greendalecommunitycollege.com/campus-connect/britta-perry.shtml
Britta's favorite movie is Sixteen Candles, and as we see in "Contemporary American poultry", that particular movie is very important to Abed, too.)

In case you haven't read the season 1 Abed/Britta shipper posts by aikakone, do it now.

To the episode:

As the group gets together sans Britta, Abed makes a note and tells everyone--
Abed: "We should wait for Britta."

When Britta apppears (this picture is actually from after the picture below, but there wasn't a good pic for her "reveal"),

Abed makes either an "oopsie" face or a face of relief that she's there. Either way, it's cute.

He's not even listening, he's just looking at her. Awwwww.

When Britta shows up for class and people cheer, Abed raises his eyebrows appreciatively. (I want a gif of this moment!!!!).

When Jeff asks him to explain Britta-mania, he keeps his gaze keenly on Britta even after they've moved on from the subject.
When he says "I'm hoping we can move away from the soapy relationshippy stuff into bigger self-contained escapes" [sic], he narrows his eyes (and looks like he's planning something evil :D) and seems to be looking back at Britta, perhaps hoping she would move on from Jeff?

When Jeff fake-confesses to Britta, and she says "more than anything in the world", we see Abed's face and he doesn't look too happy. That could just be his regular face, but it doesn't look like it.

When Jeff/Britta make out in the hall, and Annie, Shirley and Abed stare at them, Abed shakes his head disapprovingly. Annie runs off, and Abed and Shirley have a brief conversation, all the while Abed keenly staring at Britta and Jeff.
"This is boring."

He also wants to spin off with Shirley, perhaps to avoid the main couple of Community (well, at the moment), Jeff/Britta.
Shirley tells him to see the JB relationship as an adventure, so Abed tries his best to help them be together, even going so far as to organize a proposal

and a subsequent wedding for the two.

After Annie spills the beans about the season 1 finale kiss, Abed confronts Jeff after the latter mocks him for not being able to tell the difference between TV and reality. "In life, we have you." Without Jeff, Britta might have seen Abed and gone with him.

After Jeff was choked to unconsciousness by Betty White, at the hospital Abed apologizes for trying to force their first week to be amazing, and when he says "an old woman drinking her own pee", Britta looks at him appreciatively and points at him.

The first season 2 episode with screen caps. Most of the moments I glimpsed in text weren't available in the screen caps I found, but it's there if you just re-watch the episode. Have a good day :)
