i am done with college! well, i don't graduate till saturday, but monday was my last exam and i turned in my essay (that one damn essay that i've been complaining about like, all semester) yesterday, so no more work! it hasn't sunk in yet. i don't think it will sink in till august when i don't have to go back to school, heh. i picked my cousin up from the airport tonight. she's never been here before, so i'm going to show her around and stuff. i think we're going to the beach tomorrow. the rest of my family gets here on friday, and then saturday is graduation, and i think i'm spending a few more days in florida before i drive to nashville (with my sister, so i won't be alone), so i probably won't be around much for the next week. just so you know.
holy crap holy crap. okay, so i get there, and i have to wait in this loooong line to pick up my ticket from will call. i don't think i've ever felt more out of place in my life haha. there were so many ~scene kids, it was insane. combichrist were on by the time i got inside. i really did not like them. techno-ish music + screaming vocals = no thank you. then came the birthday massacre. they're fronted by a girl, which is cool, and i actually liked their music. after their set i went to buy a msi shirt. i went to get a medium t shirt, and the guy asked if it was for me. i told him it was, and he held it up and gave me a skeptical look. it looked kind of small so i got a large, and when i got back to my room later i tried it on. it's too big. fantastic. i'm hoping i can shrink it, because i really want to wear it. it's actually a small! so he gave me the look for a different reason. but it's still too big.
then it was time for msi. the venue is kind of shitty, like it's pretty small and there's a balcony, so unless you're right in front of the stage chances are there's a pillar interrupting your view. anyway. i was on the side, and before they came out i looked over at the backstage area (which is really more like a room to the side of the stage) and i saw lyn-z standing in the doorway. she cut her hair! it's about right to her shoulders and pretty shaggy, so she didn't have it in pigtails. it was still hot though, when she was rocking out and it was hanging in her face (idk, i think that's hot. observe. and here. and here.) she was wearing this outfit (omfg that picture), except i think she was wearing black socks. i could see her thigh tattoo sometimes, which was pretty awesome. i was on steve's side since i had a much better view over there, and depending on where she was standing i could lyn-z pretty well too. and jimmy i could see practically the entire time, and kitty as well.
guys, they are so amazing! so energetic and entertaining. jimmy says the most random shit in between songs, it's hilarious. bullet point time:
-he took off his shirt after a while and he had on this see through thing around his chest and arms, idk it looked like fishnets. he asked people to throw clothes on stage, so people threw random shirts and stuff. someone threw a skirt, which he put on over his pants haha. and someone else threw a bra, which jimmy also put on. it looked kind of hot? especially when he'd pull at it and you could see his chest, and he was all sweaty and stuff, idek.
-before faggot, jimmy picked someone from the crowd to come on stage (he said he picked him because he looked like he'd get beat up ha. he was wearing a tight black shirt with like, those fishnet things on his arms and had bright pink hair. jimmy commented on the tightness of his pants, ha). he got up on steve's side and steve was like, you must be this fat (and pointed to himself) to stand at this mic (he was kind of bigger, like steve is).
-okay, i'm not gonna lie, i spent a lot of time staring at lyn-z. not to be creepy, but lyn-z, please sex me up now. seriously she's like, sex on stage, idek. she did the backbend and i just, holy shit. my giant girl-crush, let me show you it.
