I surprised myself. I've never thought of myself as a creative cook.

There used to be a show on NPR called The Splendid Table. Each week, there was a segment in which someone called in with a weird assortment of agreements -- just things they had on hand. Then, the hostess would create a recipe on the spot.

That show was all about food porn.
