Two Quick Things

The first: I sort of unabashedly love the song "A Little Respect" by Erasure. I refuse to apologize for this.

The second: I watched The Lost Valentine last night and ended up bawling like a baby. Not because it was the Best Ever, but it pulled the right strings. It makes me wonder if younger generations will have the same sort of visceral

I sort of unabashedly love the song "A Little Respect" by Erasure. me too. :) I actually used in a cracky song fic I'm working on.

strikes a chord this makes sense - nostalgia, or hitting any button, can make a movie/story/play more memorable for me because it fills an emotional need even if it's not a stellar work.

Ahha! That's AWESOME!! It's just so catchy and fun! There's a Scrubs where they use it throughout the entire episode and it makes me SO HAPPY!!

*nods* bulletproof nostalgia, maybe? But yeah, totally like that.

Happy to help!! I never watched it when it originally aired, but at some point it started showing in syndication like fifteen times a day and I got totally hooked.
