Those dreams.. did everyone see those? More like nightmares, actually.

Sam, Dean, are you guys okay? I saw...

[He stops before mentioning what he saw of the brothers.]

I thought I saw Castiel, but.. I don't know... he was trapped somewhere. There was a door he couldn't get through. Was it just a dream?

Someone else's dreams. When the tower gets close to the land, people fall asleep and share dreams.. or nightmares.

Yeah. What you saw, everyone saw, and what you dream, everyone sees.

Sometimes people don't see the dreams, but when people have 'em.. yeah, they all have the same ones when the Tower is around.

I'm not an expert or anything. Castiel's only been here since December and I just got out, but.. I remember glimpses of some of them.
