I am reading too much something positive [but I love choochoo bear sooo much! ;_;]
So the tests went pretty well. They sat me down in a comfy chair, and couldn't find a vien in my arm, so they ended up using my hand. My nurse (named Erin, ohh, I'm her namesake) took five vials of blood, and set me up onto the IV.
I sat there for an hour, sucking up delicious platelett-creating hormones through my bloodstream and shooting the breeze with the lady next to me. Her two-year-old daughter was getting a treatment done- it turns out she was born with no immune system and had to get open heart surgury when she was two weeks old.
She's such a sweet, quiet little girl and she's incredably lucky to be alive now! Yes, something must be wrong with me, I thought a child was cute. :p
Anyway, I finished up my IV, got flushed (god, that stuff is cold and it flows through your hand cold... brrr...), and another hour later Erin came back and took another 4 vials of blood. She had a hard time drawing it this time and it hurt a little (from her moving around the needle)
She finished up and I was finally out the door.
Turns out this stuff causes headaches, nausea and makes you retain water. I've been getting all these symtoms... blahhh. And today I had to take my first two exams. My history teacher loves me and cut me slack on the essay portion cause he knew I felt like shit. ^_^
