bittersweet, i think you got the best of me
so the play ended and i'm sort of upset about it.
okay so sort of as in really upset about it.
being in Les Miserables was the time of my life. i love every person that i met in the cast and i hate leaving them. even though i know that they'll still be there it's not the same. it's kind of like one of those deals where you say you dread going to long rehersals every day after school but then they end and you don't know what to do with yourself.
and, to top it off, the show was fantastic beyond words. we had low expectations, but we sold out 3/4 nights, and on sunday we had to put in extra chairs, which is unheard of. there are no words to describe how proud i am of the entire cast/crew/pit. thanks to everybody who came to see it.
closing statement: Les Miserables was probably the best experience of high school for me, and i really learned a lot. What a bittersweet ending.
