Goggles came
My goggles came today, brazing eye-cup goggles. One black one dark green. I think I'll need to do some tweaking with them, maybe add some leather and paint one of them up nicer. Eventually I want an entire nicely done Steampunk outfit.
I was surprised how well I could see in them, I somehow imagined they would be so dark. But actually they are about the darkness level that I want my sunglasses to be. I'll have to wear them out more to see how they are on a sunny day.
I also got my motorcycle-goggles which are nice but not dark enough for very bright days.
I'm thinking about figuring out how to tint them another layer (or two) like window tinting on cars. If there is something I could get to paint on, or a strip of plasticy stuff or what?
The image isn't what I have yet, just the basic plastic goggle so far. But I plan on working up something like it.
