Yeah, maybe! If your character finds someone who can, or knows who to go to they might be able to have their device modified. I don't think the city will start producing animal-specific devices unless we get a large influx of animal characters, though.
You can go about a mile-ish in any direction before you'll get pwnt and knocked to the ground, more or less. But that's only by flight. There isn't any way to get out of town from the land/water.
While I've got your attention~ Kusuriuri is pretty used to going wherever he wants without being impeded, and I don't mind having him stopped, obviously, but I'm not sure about the mechanics behind it for when he's describing it.
Magic, Science, or ~*Unknown*~?
And uh, I assumed no way out. Is it like Silent Hill where there's just a drop? Or is it like in Coraline where the 'outer limits' of the city continue to repeat and sustain themselves, slowly petering out to half-assed scraps or reality? Or like Legend of Zelda where there's just an invisible wall at a point?
;; sorry to ask so many questions, he's a really nosy guy.
Oh, you mean the barrier that stops him from leaving? I guess it'd be best to classify it under something more scientific, but it's advanced enough that you could call it an "unknown force." I hope that's what you meant. I am so not awake. /cries
It's basically like an invisible wall! You can see... you know, stretches of land or a continuation of... the world beyond the wall, but you can't pass through it/smell anything that might be behind it/etc.
Do you guys have any kind of order to how you accept applications? Because I couldn't help but to notice twice now people who have been waiting on applications have gotten skipped. First a third one in a row after two others had been waiting, and now just Hetalia. I checked the FAQ and everything to see if any kind of disclaimer about some applications taking longer than others for whatever reason, but couldn't find one. I find it really unfair to just ignore someone's application without even letting them know why they are getting skipped.
We don't mean to skip applications for any particular reason, other than that we're either undecided on whether to accept/reject/whatever the application, or are unfamiliar with the canon and need someone else to read it for us. Apologies if you or someone you know has been skipped! We try to respond to them as soon as we can.
There isn't, yet, but that's something we'd very much like to have in the future. If you know anyone who's good with that kind of thing we would totally recruit them to make us a map, aww yeah.

Talk to me about how far out/up/down of the city can you go before you reach the end of the world?
