WHO: Halle Lidner and Near
WHAT: TURKEY DAY. halle attempts do nice things for near.
WHEN: Today, November 26th
WHERE: Hal's (and Near's) Apartment

This year, she would so something nice. It may make her homesick- not that she ever was to a great degree, but it did bring out something, somewhere in her.
Going all-out on her somewhat low salary was not possible, but she still tried- a small turkey, potatoes, and her attempts at pie and gravy would last as leftovers for a while. Near stayed in his room most of the day, but the smells would have allerted him to what she was planning to do. She had cooked the night before and somewhat this morning before work, so all that was left to do was warm everything up and serve it.
It takes her another hour or so before everything is ready and set. That done- artfully if she does say so herself- she moves out of the kitchen, places the glasses down, and steps across the small hallway to Near's room, knocking.
"Near? Are you hungry?"
Even if he says no, she will have to find some excuse to get him out here to enjoy this.
