WHAT: Not quite the roommates Adachi had bargained for.
WHEN: After the Halloween event.
WHERE: The middle district, at Adachi's newly leased apartment.

[ being a convicted murderer had put adachi low on money - lawyers aren't cheap and his old job hadn't paid well in the first place, so there was little in the bank to tide him over. luckily, he'd somehow secured a job at a japanese restaurant in town, waiting tables. (and here he'd thought being dojima-san's assistant was the worst job in the world.)
bullshit aside, the most important thing for him right now was to find a place to live, one more permanent than that complimentary hotel. when he met with the landlord for this mediocre little place in the middle district, the landlord said he'd found two people for adachi to share the apartment with. when asked if he wanted to meet them before signing, adachi declined - why would he need to meet them? he intended to never speak with them ever, if at all possible. with any luck, they'd be decent people who'd stay out of his business and keep the volume down.
when he moves in, they haven't arrived yet. it's not until a day or so later, when he's standing in the kitchen making soup, that he hears the doorknob rattling and turns to see who the hell is trying to get into his apartment. ]
