[ he glances over at the laptop screen and -- hello sudden 180 degree change in attitude which only comes after meeting a pretty girl/// weird hair color, though he can't say he's really complaining ]
Nothing to do? Man, never thought I'd hear someone say that in a city as big as this...
[ well, he's pretty bored too, but he's not exactly fond of that shopping thing that girls liked to do ]
But you were just agreeing with me earlier. Mm, but... I agree. This city might be big but it's... people are awkward and too nice. It makes trips to anywhere alone an annoyance. [ though she's used to stares and whispers, she's not quite used to the bizarre hospitality that the citizens seemed to be forced to show. ]
Huh? Was I? I didn't notice, haha... [ he pauses, thinking about what she said ] Huh, I never thought about it that way. Now that you mention it, the people here are pretty nice, for a big city and all.
[ way nicer than he'd expect from anyone in, say, tokyo. he hadn't interacted with much of the natives aside from shopkeepers, so he'd assumed it was just extremely good employee training, but... ]
Y-Yeah, I guess you're right... [ he hesitates, looking very unsure about that possibility ] But hey, you don't really think something like that would happen again, right...?
video, correct me if i'm wrong on any of this, i didn't post during the zombie thing ;;junesbitchNovember 24 2009, 08:03:34 UTC
Yeah... I'm not sure just how much we can trust her words, though. [ he shrugs ] Haha, this conversation got pretty serious all of a sudden, didn't it?
video, it's okay! i got the jist of it anyway .///. /HUGSjunesbitchNovember 26 2009, 00:59:10 UTC
[ he thinks he's had enough serious conversations to last him a lifetime, but he doesn't mind speculating on the city at the same time. it was something to do, and he has to admit that it's kind of interesting to think about. ]
It's not so bad, I guess... I wasn't really expecting to stay here long-term, though.

Ah, a lot of people have been saying that. I don't think I was anticipating that, either, until everyone started saying the trains were down. But this city isn't too bad, I suppose.
[ he's not looking at the laptop right now, but his mood will probably change when he notices that there's a cute girl on the screen ]

Isn't there anything to do in this city...? [ to be honest, she hasn't looked around much. she's a homebody. ]

I suppose it shouldn't be a worry until the time comes though, right?

Ah, well, the Overseer mentioned it wouldn't happen again and it hasn't yet, so I'm sure we don't have much to worry about.
