I know it's a bit late, but I am extremely excited to announce that the surprise Fleeting Projects show for August 30th 2009 is artist John Evans. Here's another in the series of paintings I'm doing to add to my "Fantasy" installation body of work. This area of work is becoming a bit more clear. A few more pieces and I'll probably be able to talk about it more effectively.

I just thought I'd randomly share a new piece I finished recently that is part of the "Fantasy" installation body of work. This multi-layering of text, paint, and other objects that reference different histories of painting seems to be the way this body of work is moving. I'll have two more in this vein to share soon!
