KOKI TANAKA

•No matter how you put it, I've become an adult? I guess when compared to the past, I have become patient more or less? Concerning "food", lately I may have grown up a bit. I had been always living thinking that, "It is best when it's cheap because it's tasty!" That's because I have become able to eat more premium foods slightly more than before. Although I still eat from cooking materials from a 100 yen (dollar) store, when I work really hard as a prize I get something really good to eat. Now that I have become to think this way I think that I have also become an adult.

•Now that I mention it, I used to be the type to carry out plans for surprise parties! The one that I recall the most, is my friend's wedding party. I guess it was about 4 years ago. It's because I have this friend that was going to get married but wasn't going to have a reception due to the financial costs. So therefore we threw him a wedding party between all of us who were his friends! That's how it became. Because that guy was from Kyoto, I secretly went all the way to Kyoto and called up his parents and friends. I threw him a surprise wedding party. It was a complete success! Everyone was was thrilled so I'm glad that I did it.

Lately... I haven't done that at all. Until now I've had too many plans and as expected I am limited when it comes to throwing surprise parties. Some summer years ago, I called my friends over to my house and we had a party in which we cooked roadside stand food like yakisoba (grilled noodles) and takoyaki (octopus balls) or something. However, cleaning up afterwards was such a pain...

•Although I've also experienced a friend throwing me a surprise party before, for the most part I end up noticing a pattern half way through. So I've... never actually been shocked for real *smile*. Before, I'm not sure how many of my friends came but they planned to stake out in my house as a surprise for my birthday. I had a hunch that this would happened but I just pretended that I didn't know. Then, on the actual day because everyone caught a cold, it was a suprise because no one came!! It's no use because everyone was sick but I guess I was a bit lonely.

*I bet Koki would be great at thinking up romantic dates! Just a thought...
