I knew getting Ino that feline sidekick was an excellent idea... ::illegible text:: Sorry... I just.. I can’t sit still.... I asked Ino to bring over some dirt good potting soil from her father, and to be sure to bring that beautiful sleek creature I got for her. I hadn’t seen Ino in a long time and was a birthday present short.... so I had gotten Rose Petal a set of “Slashing Slippers®”.
I put them on the kitten and she adored them... but I’ll get back to that...
So Ino and I talked for a bit while she helped me get my soil where it needed to be stored so Puncture didn’t break into it like last time and we had an...... interesting .... hypothetical discussion about a theoretical situation that could cause potential sexual harassment suits but since it's all imaginary, nothing needs to be worried about... and I hope it’ll stay that way... I’d hate to have to choose a side
Anyway.... While we were talking, the little kitten opted to try out her new claws.... and I think she didn’t like how Mr. Assistant was looking at Ino.... Rose Petal ended up bringing me his pants and part of his boxers.... It was quite amusing... and Ino kept trying to keep a straight face as she scolded her feline companion. I also hope that it proved that Rose would be useful on a mission... especially with the new claws... and that they can be extended with a bit of chakra--Technology is wonderful.
Admittedly, I have not seen him... but I did get a phone call asking if the pants could be sent to the hospital and how often the girl and cat combo come to visit. I told him that I was thinking of training her on summoning and how to work best with her furry side-kick so it could be quite often...... I don’t quite understand why but he said for his clothes and personal safety he would call my editor and resign... I don’t get it... He was supposed to at least be a Chuunin and he can’t handle a small furry creature? You should have seen all the problems he had with my plants... Puncture and Impale were about to shred each other for a taste of his un-shielded chakra....
So now you understand why I’m so happy!
