A splitting headache...
Weak body...
Sensitive hearing....
That whole inability to walk a straight line....
All I needed was light sensitive eyes and I could be diagnosed with a hangover--except I haven't had one of those in at least 30 years. No good trying to fool me you underhanded Slug-Queen!!! YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY TELL ME THAT THIS IS A RESPONSIBLE USE OF YOUR MEDICAL TRAINING!!! Imagine how peeved I was to wake up at the same stand I met Tsunade in the night before and realized she put something in my overpriced food or drink during the course of our pseudo-date talk last night so I couldn't use my chakra properly when I woke up though I should be grateful on some level that she didn't poison me...
I had an ominous thought when I woke...If she did that to me one of her oldest, closest and trusted friends what would she do to the gaki? I rushed as quickly as I could to the hotel to make sure he was okay and that none of those pesky red-moon freaks got to him while he was under her tender care....
I heard yelling as I approached the room... I heard Shizune yelling the genki's name... I couldn't make out what she said, but I assumed it was trouble... I managed to climb up onto the side of the building and I pulled one of my lovely kunai out of my pouch and threw it when I heard someone approaching the window... and ended up missing Shizune's nose by a few inches... I managed to get her to stop running off and asked her some questions and get yelled at by the baka for being poisoned without knowing about it... like he could have done any better.
We heard a wall crumbling in the distance, so we all raced off there as best we could... the gaki was very impatient with having to travel slowly with both Shizune and myself being.... in less than ideal operating conditions.... anyway.. to make the story of the search short, we found her coat next to a crumbled wall, and then followed the sausage to her ham the elders want as the Fifth.... I wonder if they would still want her to lead after she tried to incapacitate me and her assistant and then run off to talk to a man who has sworn to destroy Konoha down to the last sapling...
Once we got on the battle field, the real battle had begun..... I was paired up against my old rival.... Orochumaru... the battle was going to be spectacular....
Actually-- it was more like a battle of the gimps with my chakra system compromised and the wallet having no ability to use his hand jives to attack me.... it was like a messed up game of tag, or keep away, racing around the snake. We would jab at each other physically, and then verbally, and then pause to watch the other battle before starting again. Well, that is until gaki managed to pull off the 3rd stage of the attack, take down the leathery side-kick, and assist Tsunade in finally overcoming her hemo-phobia... Tsunade was right.... again.... it's wonderful to have medics on the battle fields to heal mortal wounds.
Then the battle really did become spectacular.... summonings here, people being smashed into the ground there... lots of excitement.... I'm glad that's over....
I want a nap....
