Liberal Paul Szabo had more to celebrate last night than just a victory.
Not only was it his daughter Reagan's birthday, but he was also still enjoying the birth of her first daughter, Mae - and his first grandchild.
In retaining his seat, the 57-year-old accountant returns to Ottawa for a fifth consecutive term.
Szabo, a solid backbencher throughout his career, has now represented the riding since 1993.
