Excerpt from the December 5 Arbutus Club manager on duty nightly report:
In an event shrouded in secrecy, Canucks management, as well as the players and their wives, girlfriends, and escorts hold their Christmas Party upstairs. As a side note, it looks like Roberto Luongo is a winner both on and off the ice. Sadly, the same cannot be said for Taylor Pyatt.
Some other random notes:
A drunken Coach Vigneault offered the following gem to one of the bartenders: “This drink sucks, just like my team…they can’t shoot, they can’t score….(drunken noises leading to an eventual trailing off)”. As well, according to Kumiko, a bombed Willie Mitchell apparently stole one of the giant Arbutus Club Christmas wreaths. STANLEY CUP HERE WE COME!
