Blast from the past.
I was looking for this cover in Time Magazine's archives, and stopped to read the cover story. In retrospect, it's actually fairly balanced, and contains lots of warnings. How did anyone not see this coming? By June 13th 2005, it should have been obvious even if your only news source was the mainstream press.
I'm not wrong. I'm not special, either. You don't have to be a genius, you don't have to be particularly well-informed. You just have to not live in denial. Then again, maybe that is special.
