How to get rid of popups from Flash.
Last time I upgraded FireFox it disabled AdBlock and I had to reinstall it. Spending just a few minutes without it made me want to kill someone. Popups and worthless garbage everywhere. I spent more time closing stuff and clicking through stuff and scrolling past stuff than I did reading the information I actually wanted. I can't even imagine what it would have been like on a dialup.
The marketers have actually managed to destroy the functionality of the web. They've Clear Channeled it, pumping in so many ads that they destroy not only the medium they're using, but reduced the value of advertisement as well. The only ads I see and use anymore are Google's, and even there the generic "Buy whatever-you-searched-for on eBay" ads are becoming an annoyance.
