Huzzah!
It's my birthday today! I am officially a number involving a 2 and a 7 (anyone who says 72 is getting a kicking ;D!)
I was supposed to be taken out for dinner by the parents & Dave tonight but my dad's work is EEEVVVIIILLLLLLL so the parents had to cancel. Fortunately Dave being the wonderful person he is, told me yesterday that we're going out for dinner tonight together and going to see the Simpsons Movie *sigh of happiness*. With any luck the parents will now come over on Sunday when Stinky is here and Dave, and we can do a proper celebration of both mine and Dad's B'days. There is also talk of a Scoobie (my bunch of craaaaaaaazy arse friends!) cocktails to celebrate le B'day plus Erica finishing her dissertation in a couple of weeks so my B'day will techically last 3 weeks! Huzzzzahhhhhhhhhhhhh!
I'm downright chirpy today despite my advanced years!
We hit the Festival on Saturday and despite the bouncers being w*nkers had a great night:
I swear I wasn't as drunk as that pic makes me look! I just always blink or do something wierd and eyeball-ey when pics are being taken of me!

On Sunday Dave was rehearsing so Jess, Ellie, Eleanor and I went to see an open air production of 'A Midsummers Night Dream'. The show was great but halfway through the heavens opened. We stayed till the end but we were soaked! The worst thing was it was really sunny earlier so I had short sleeves, a very thin jacket and no umbrella! I made a very convincing drowned rat!
