Hurrah! The cable guy has just left so our new flat is now officially connected to the rest of the world! It's amazing what you miss when you don't have the internet. Simple things like checking the bus timetable before you leave the flat and locating a local take-away.
As christmas approaches I feel like I can finally start relaxing. My last big event was last Friday in Aberdeen, so now most my work deadlines are in the new year. I've got too much to do to let myself veg too much, but it's nice to be able to relax in the office a bit. Also the flat is just about sorted. We have three wee boxes to unpack, curtains for the bedroom are being delivered on Friday, and I have to pick up a picture that is being framed tomorrow. There are a few other bits and bobs to do but the worst is over for now.
