20 strawberries and cream textures
We've got the keys now which is fantastic! We are now official homeowners. Dave and I went to check out the flat on Saturday to decide what we need to do. We've not moving just yet as we want to get some decorating done first. Dave can't get this week off work, but I have taken the week on holiday and my dad is coming over tomorrow so we can get started on the decorating. We're going to aim to have at least the kitchen/living room and bedroom repainted before we move in. It will be a fair bit of work, but hopefully worth it!
We haven't been completely flat focused! On Friday we went to a Murder Mystery Dinner in Fife. Probably wasn't the best murder mystery night in the world, but the food was fantastic. This is us making merry:
On Sunday we went to Dave's Grandad's memorial concert. His Gran gave me a copy of his grandad's book: The Imp and the Thistle. He was well known for his contributions to music. Dennis Townhill OBE. It was a very moving service.
