It's been an usually long time since I last posted, but the last few days have been a bit busy. We went to Natalie's wedding on Friday which was a fantastic laugh. Unfortunately I forgot to take my camera but hopefully some pics will appear online soon. On Saturday we went to a ceilidh that Dave's mum's opera company had organised to raise money and on Sunday we played poker at Sanjay's and I lost £5. Plus an egg was thrown through the window and onto Sanjay's ceiling! Which we thought was quite impressive! It splattered EVERYWHERE.
In other news, on top of doing my full-time job (which I quite enjoy, admittedly), I am finalising the arrangements for a charity band night I'm organising for Friday 26th and we're also buying a flat. We just completed a mortgage application this afternoon and we should hear next week whether we are successful. We then need to get missives signed so that we officially own the flat. In the meantime I need to pay for the survey and arrange which items of puchase we would like to buy with the flat. Oh, and we are continuing to bond with our hamster Sweetpea who is now getting used to being handled and is happy to run all over us!
As you can imagine all this is making it a bit hard to keep up to date with LJ!
