I speak syphilis too!
There are signs all over Vancouver that read, "WE SPEAK ENGLISH, FRENCH AND CANCER." This is disturbing. The signs are advertising some cancer society or hospital or something. This has to be the worst advertising slogan ever, not because trilingualism is bad, but because speaking cancer, whatever that is, just isn't comforting.
DOCTOR: Would you like me to give you the good news or the bad news first?
PATIENT: Um, start with the bad.
DOCTOR: Well, the bad news is that you have an aggressive cancer... but the good news is that I *leans in closely* speak cancer.
PATIENT: Get away from me!
