(no subject)
This'll probably be my last entry for awhile. I go on vacation tomorrow! Yippee! Please oh please don't rain!
Today's preschool session was quite interesting. Not as many of them showed up so it was easier to keep tabs on everyone. Tess, one of the girls in my group, just would NOT talk. I prodded her so much, and I still didn't get anything out of her. I'm at the end of my rope here. If anyone has advice for an extremely shy and non-vocal child I'd love to hear it! I tried helping her out, modeling the activity, making her laugh..everything. Sigh.
Denise's luncheon was fun. I finally bought new shoes today! Yeah! However, after the third hour of talking or so I was almost asleep on the couch. I didn't get to bed until late last night. I love my elderly aunts and grandmas (I actually have three!) talk, but it puts you to sleep when you've only had 4 hours of sleep.
My side note: What is it with everyone getting married? I know so many people who are getting married this summer. I just found out my Phi Psi friend is marrying his sweetheart this weekend. Good grief.
