The Multiple Worlds Connect

The UFO landed in the backyard. It appeared to be the size of a small car. The sleeping child in the house stirred somewhat and woke up with eyes scrunched closed. He got out of bed and wandered to the window. His dog sat quietly watching the UFO and turned to the child.
"Ben, you have visitors." Raggles the dog said.
Ben was still half asleep, and talkig dogs were just part of dreams, so no big deal.
Ben put on his slippers and wandered outside.
"Did you say something?' Ben said to Raggles.
"No, it was a thought that I had, and it somehow my thoughts are now translated into your language. You might admire how I'm calm about such a strange event. Not barking. You notice?"
"Huh, yes." Ben was going with the dream idea thing, he would wake up soon and forget these odd impossible things.
Raggles looked to the spaceship, and felt happy. There was some calming pulse coming from this metallic object. The machine wasn't just for traveling through the physical distances humans know. There were curves of unseen dimensions dancing around it's shell like surface. Time and space pulsed, ebbed and flowed in swirls like milk added to a stirred cup of tea. Raggles hadn't seen pictures of Jupiter, but he had seen milk added into a teacup. His doggy brain now made connections from memories and knowledge that allowed him to appreciate the phenomenon Bens sleepy mind didn't grasp. A mathematical formula occurred to Raggles, now his innate animal genius was being unleashed, pardon the pun. "Of course! The regressive set of recursive subsets on the edge of ever decreasing infinite solid space.! Instead of pushing mass through vast space distances the technology allows quantum vacuum to take it instantly... My, how clever." Raggles wondered if he would be able to chat to the engineers of this spaceship like he could with Ben the human. "More than likely now I suppose."

Ben walked towards the glowing field surrounding the curious space machine.
