What machinery makes us aware of this world? Tapping words on twitter has raised this question.
We know that words are not a loaf of bread, a breath we take, a tree or anything but words.
We all think differently but we have learned these word things that make it possible to tell each other truths, lies, and more. Shades of grey, the words allow us to hold ideas, and let ideas go. We need these sounds and letters so our brains don't go back to the cave or the jungle every time we want to communicate.
This isn't to say our primitive ancestors were lacking in skill with communication. It's easy to type cast Neanderthals and our prehistoric forebears as simple. It's hard now to trace the first languages, the first sounds with meaning.
Our modern talk is rapid and evolved, abbreviated and full of jargon.
Constant use of sounds as words makes it easier to abbreviate and condense meaning.
There is language and there are other means of communicating ideas. Music, art, food, actions and more make statements and tell us about this life.
This is my way of looking under the hood of the transportation we commonly use to understand things.
Brief intro . A vast subject.
More needed - I guess I will ponder.
Thanks
