anyways, the rest of the weekend was scorching so I shouldnt really complain...
twas live 8 on saturday and a whole bunch of us went. lost most of them so it was just me paul and eamon til the bitter end! it would've been a whole lot better had there not been about a 20min gap between each artist..
muse stole the show with 4 AMAZING songs! on our way to buy tshirts we managed by some happy accident to wander into the VIP area and be about 25m from the stage for the last couple of songs! soooo many people...eventually stumbled into bed around 2am...
yesterday went to my haven (whsmith) and pondered around aimlessly trying to find something to buy...i hate it, when you have money there is always nothing. ararah.
got a paper (english paper, BLISS) and met up with paul and wandered through a fun fair with one of the ghastly bunjee ball things. made me ill just watching it. so we sat in sun and read paper, all very jolly. he's SUCH a nice guy. then had dinner on the champs elysees...(yes, it was a MacDo's!) and went up the arc de triomphe which is INCROYABLE..
realised that after spending time with paul (carol-ann's bf) whose so friendly and affectionate that i really would love someone like that (not him himself but you know what i mean) and when saying to the man i would like more genuine affection and less of a sex object type thang i was asked, whats the difference? ....its not looking good is it?!
ah well
absolutely knackered but the weekend was worth it. only 8 days of work left!!! fabbbbbbbb!
