Yes, and even more so if you're here. I miss hearing updates on the latest things your boy says. He must be in middle school by now. Scary thought. I remember when he was knocking over water glasses in the diner after an event. It can't have been that long ago, can it?
I post stuff every workday and try to get something up on weekends as well. If you can trust LJ's statistics, I get about 150-300 readers every day. That's probably atypical though, because I post links and teasers for my posts on twitter and fb since they're part of my grand book publicity conspiracy. And I'm posting essays and reviews for the most part, rather than personal chit-chat.
Out of the 188 people I follow on LJ, it looks like I get a little over 20 posts per day. WIthout doing serious statistics, I'd guess that maybe 15 of those are from people who post nearly every day, with the rest being less frequent posters.
There's definitely less of a "conversation" happening here. A brief survey suggests that only about 30% of my posts get any comments at all. And maybe one in three of those represents actual conversation as opposed to "Nice post."
I post here often, and see new posts from a few of my friends... I'd be delighted to have more of your writings to read and pictures of your creativity to look at
