Busy day again today.
I have a friend coming over from Germany today and will be meeting her and her husband for lunch. I then have to go into town with my son in order to buy his birthday present (birthday was yesterday). He desperately wants a German World Cup football shirt but I have not been able to find one anywhere. Worse, he wants Klose written on the back. Oh yes, for those of you not up to date Germany beat Argentina 4-2 on penalties. People at work will be soooooooo upset when I go in on Monday. Question: will England manage to beat Portugal?
So this afternoon, after the shopping, we will be watching the footy and then off to a BBQ 40th b'day party.
Tomorrow my older boy is off for a week for a shooting competition. Fingers crossed that he does well as he is missing school. They were not too happy about that but tough luck. He has very high attendance and is good academically. Also I have never taken him out of school for anything up to now.
Off to get the washing going as it is going to be a scorcher today.
