In your opinion, what are some of your favourite / best / most important songs from the last decade?
Use whatever criteria you like. Just start throwing some names out there.
Mostly just me writing down songs I like as I think of them.
I tend to favour singles for a variety of reasons, but I can also be perverse (i.e. Seven Nation Army took over the world in 2003 but I prefer Blue Orchid so there). I have no reason for a one-song-per-artist general policy. I just do (note Bjork and Britney both snuck two songs in, lol indeed).
ETA: I'm breaking it up into groups of five just for ease of reading. Clearly this is not even close to a definitive or complete.
