Mini update.......

This week I went back to my placement following 4 weeks back at uni doing assignment, exams etc (same ward as before). Some patients have left, and some have come back. Some of the staff were surprised to find out that I am actually 30 (one thought I was 22, so result :-)) and that it is my first placement. I have to assume that I am in fact
doing ok ;-) I have my final interview next Sunday to find out if I have passed the placement section for semester 1. The only thing left on my tick list is to do a care plan and risk assesment for a patient, and read up on ward policies and procedures. This is entirely doable, but it doesn't stop me feeling nervous. I find out my assignment and exam results in about 4 weeks....
In other news I am starting a beginners canoeing course next Sunday. It was meant to start today but it was cancelled, due to the river being a tad high.
