Entry:

several months ago the person we called shop boy
went to the corporate office to deliver paper
he brought a dolly from the shop
it had grease on the wheels
with which he made a track from the elevator to the suite

the ceo was furious
the management of the office building was going to
charge my company a replacement fee of $5K
but a cleaning company was able to clean it

shop boy is no longer with us
partly for that incident
and today when they needed paper
they sent me
so i pressure washed the dolly

and after i had walked clear across
the office minding the dolly with five cases
of paper weighing 100# each
i reached the storage room
and turned back and noticed
greasy footprints
all through the office

the ceo is returning soon
my employment is at this point
not certain
but it is still the funniest thing
that has happened to me at work
in a long time
i actually laughed out loud
with the controller and
accounts payable persons present

the looks on their faces were priceless
maybe even worth my job
perhaps that will be the cost...
