Well, apparently, the trolls in charge of opening and closing the Black Gate unionized and demanded higher wages. In response, Sauron Inc. fired them and had a mega-garage-door-opener installed.

So, we've invaded Mordor. There was some resistance in the beginning. However, once we set up the Processing Camp, they were falling all over themselves to surrender. Apparently, life in the camps beats life in the work gangs by a mile.
We've surrounded Barad-Dur. (When did it get all covered in flowers, anyway?) Our information tells us the dictator Sauron has fled and gone into hiding. We're searching all of the laundry chutes, of course.
So, Operation: Kill The Ugly Pig-Faced Fuckers seems to be a success.
