I'm so thankful. So freaking incredibly thankful.
God's brought many of my friendships back together. Starting with Danielle, then Sasha, And now Liz. There all wonderful women of god, they really are, and they all are keeping me up. Liz and i can stay up hours just talking about GOD, and Sasha and i can stay up hrs encouageing each other, and Dani and i can stay up for hrs talking about absolutly nothing! haha.
I was def. Bummed out this week. I was trying to figure out why the heck am I doing bad, then i realized, I havent been to church in a week, and the really does a # on you, it really does, I slack in areas i thought i mastered, and thats just it. I just talked to liz and she is such a "lifter uper" she really is.
Tomorrows band banquet. YES! I love to dress up! I love it!
I found out that I'm a leader for this years marching season and concert season. It's awesome. I'm living above.
And yeah i can go on this whole tangent on how i don't think FANIX deserves to be a drum mayor, but she is, and none of us can do anything to change it. I give her props to actully go for it, but i really think her and Jackie have to get out of the whole, "I'm your mom, let me YELL and SCREAM and Threaten you" mode, and come to respect the band.
However, I started thinking more. I don't think they are going to start to respect us if we don't do it first. Yeah, it's going to be really hard at first, but in order to get the respect from them, we as a senior class have to come together. We have too! If we don't, then the classes after us are going to continue to not treat band like it's surposed to be. My goals this year is to make band like it was the year before i went in. When we would actually not talk in "inspections" and actually take "drum mayors" seriously. I really think this year, our senior class is going to set an example, we got rid of the "rat pack" we got rid of the people who don't want to be in band, we got rid of everything that is going to make us successful, except for one thing, this year as a leader, i have to set the example of respecting the drum majors. As small as that seems, it's going to make a huge difference. People will follow the senior class.

And to those who say serving GOD is "witch craft." Man, If you ever talk like that in front of me, i will actually stick up for what i believe in. And yeah, i'm sorry my friend isn't bold enough to say it to you, but i am. I will defend that girl all the way through.
Seeings that none of you have Livejournal, i'm not starting drama.
