I blame it on running a fever from a cold. I finally called up the guy and told him that I had feelings for him that weren't platonic. He then proceeded to tell me why he wouldn't be good for me. Finally I cut him off and asked him to simply answer if he'd consider it or not, yes or no.
He said no. Case closed. Why the fuck did I waste 10 months trying to get that answer? If I had just asked him right off I would have been able to shrug and wander off, now I let myself start to fall for him. Fuck my life.
