if you're excercising and eating right then weight gain (and even girth/mass) is to be expected. Don't worry about it, that's your body burning fat and building lean muscle.
keep exercising and eating healhy in moderation and soon the extra jiggle will burn off and rock hard hawt muscle will be left in it's place. Just don't starve yourself (you'll gain fat if you do) and don't over exert yourself physically (you can damage your heart or just over bulk).
I'm not loosing inches though (though I've lost five pounds. Yay!) The other day for lunch I packed myself rice and rolled omlette, strawberries, black berries, and celery sticks (the died food! burn calories while you eat!)
just exercise and eat in moderation. as long as yer not starvin yourself and over workin yerslf your body will find it's perfect medium.
have ya seen a nutrionalist? they can tell you better what you need to eat than any fad diet book.
and take it easy on the exercising until your body adjusts. I can't stress not going for broke the first time enough. If your knees and body can handle it, a good run is always recommended, but so are Biking and Swimming. Those get your heartrate up and keep it there for a good period.
REaly, I just eat what I think tastes good. I haven't read any diet books at all. I try to stay away from junk food though. I want to be able to go swimming again, but I need a swimsuit to do that in. *nods* My knees can't realy handle running or biking though. I've blown them out so often. Lucklily enough, water pressure and bouency and such seem to relive the aches in my joints. And I'm just a hydroholic anyways. *chuckle*
lol, then i'd deffiantly recommed a nutrionalistia (or however ya spell that). a good one will poke and prod ya a bit, get your family history and suggest a reasonable "diet" for ya. by diet i mean a healthy balanced meal.
and good! swimmin is great for ya. ignore those ridiculous "tummy targeters" and excessive crunches. you can't burn fat from a particular part of your body, you just have to work it all off.
Ahhh.. Family history. How do I love thee... *said completely and totaly scarcasticly* Where do I start. On my mother's side, her father and his father had diabetes, and mom had gestational diabities, and on my dad's side my grandmother and I both have anemia. Whee!
