"Dean Winchester," the visitor says, as calmly as though he had taken the next stool over at a bar.
He clears his throat a little. "Come here often?" he asks, because he might as well be brain-dead if he's going to give up being a smart ass.
"No," the other says simply. "We must leave."
This bit just made me laugh. Because of course Dean is going a smart ass no matter what.
I also love how all throughout this Cas keeps up a sort of casual badassery. It makes me happy that he's not just wandering around like a lost little puppy. And the way he takes out Uriel like it's nothing. *grins*
Also, this,"I do not know." Hey, an emotion other than confusion; the guy actually sounds annoyed. "Fallen angels do not usually return to Heaven and report on their experiences.", is awesome. Along with Cas' love affeir with sharpies. No idea why but I keep imaging him raiding office supply stores now.
And Dean's mother-henning is adorable. *grins* And how Bobby's knows that he'd be way worse off without someone to fuss over and Dean can't even deny it.
I really do hope to see more of this 'verse from you.
