Exhausted
Just finished teaching my second class. I still ended an hour early. I need to learn how to pace things better. Next week at least I've got some videos to add to the 2 lectures. Still, this was a tough one - lots of acoustics/speech science/ speech perception stuff, and I think the class kept up. I spent some time with one student afterwards, and she got it too. Those moments make teaching worthwhile.
Even though I'm shattered now.
My sister may not be coming over on Thursday for her baby shower - suspected toxaemia = no medical permission to travel. She's seeing the consultant on Wednesday afternoon. I so hope she comes. The last thing I want is a weekend alone with my mother...
