Note: This was meant for viola_dreawalk 's rarehet challenge. I only got real plot bunnies days before the deadline though and then I had to keep the thing from growing into a novel. OH

I like the low-key approach you took to their relationship - no great gooshy passionate operetta stuff, very... Britishy. Nice characterisation of Arabella, too. :)

I liek how yo udefined the rest of the atmosphere. I keptthinkign the wsa no sign of romance atall. its' oen fo those iritating genfics-with-a-pairing ;P buthanksfor this-one.

Oh, how lovely. I really enjoyed this, seeing those two over the years. That entire first paragraph was just perfect--it certainly caught me right away. And of course I liked the mention of Crookshanks!

Thank you. I wrote itin bits and pieces actually. that first snippet was almost liek a sepparate drabble.
I'vealwyashad an idea/theor ythat crookshanks used to belong to mrs figg. it wsa more like i wondered wh yharry never mentioned arabella's cats to his friends, especialy that third year.
