We had few changes here in my city this year....
This year looks more prominent for the JMusic parties organised by the
Sakura Syndrome...The last event was organised on the 5th of February. Since it's the carnival period, this time more people attended the party's coseplay section. It was really fun as always.
Futhermore for the first time in history we have a Japanese athlete playing footbal in Greece and in Thessaloniki.
Daigo Kobayashi former player of Stabæk Football team from Norway has signed a contract with Thessaloniki's team Iraklis Fc. So for the few next months this player will be part of this city.
As for the music events on the 26th of February the japanese band of
Mono will have a concert in 8ball club here in Thessaloniki.
I am definately going, things like that happens once in a lifetime and besides the ticket isn't expensive at all (presale 15Euros) and eitherway I always go to this club.
500klmtrs to the south and in the Capital of Greece, Athens will be the host of
SOMA, who will pass the following months living in Greece. Soma is a Visual Key Artist who has launced his carreer here in Europe. It will be nice to have shows from him and his band
as here Visual Key is not a famous genre. Meanwhile he will be having DJ Sets in the JParties in Athens...as he did on the 15thf of January.
I must not forget the guy who changed everything in Thessaloniki Dance Scene....Hiroshi Watanabe, who was the first to sign a contract with
Klik Records and the first Japanese DJ to visit my city twice per year. Watanabe-sama's footsteps were followed by
Satoshi Fumi (whose name is also big in the dancing scene of this planet) and
Jun Yamabe & Enitokwa.
On the 7th of March in Club Vogue Klik Records is holding the fist Big in Japan Festival in Vogue Club, were both Watanabe-sama and Fumi-sama will be playing for us :). Sometimes living in a small city in a small country in Europe isn't bad after all.
