Well, I am awake. finally.
Last night was the annual Drag Show for Rocky, and I was Rocky!!!!
Much happiness. I was especially thankful for Minion and English being able to get the wraps off. And I was excited, because they were the closest to screen acurate wraps our cast has ever had, I figured, I only get to do Rocky once, I'll do the best I can dammit. My fear was because at rehersal, the ribbon holding the wraps broke so they didn't want to come off, but for the show, it went perfectly. Happiness, much happiness.
I had a cute little gold dress from Electric Boutique (I LOVE that store, stripper clothes and lots of shoes, beautiful shoes), and my 20 yards of muslin, cut into 2 11 yards strips, 4 9 yards strips, and 1 10 yards strip for the wraps. It took about 30 min to get them on, and I kind of waddled through pre-show and the show until the unwraping. I laughed at myself alot. I cringed in fear from Animal alot too, bad kitty. I will see about getting some pics, ut I don't know, I want some, but I do not have a camera and I must rely on the photos of others.
But, yay, I am looking forward to the all girl show. I think I know what I will be, but I will have to wait to the line-up to be sure.
