Attempting to hit the "reset" button on the condition of my house - too many various projects have been started and not completed or not cleaned up after. Sarah came over and helped me go through my whole wardrobe today. Now I've pulled out everything that was worn out, didn't fit, I didn't like, or that made me feel frumpy. Tomorrow will be a big trip to Goodwill to drop off the rejects. Now I have plenty of space in my closet, and I can actually get to the things that I like.

We're getting rid of the big chair that matches our loveseat and sofa. The (late) cat peed on it a few too many times, and I can't get the smell out. If you want to take on the challenge of fixing it, it's yours. Happily, the yuck from Tuesday was gone by bedtime. I'm chalking it up to a mild case of food poisoning from something had at a friend's house that had her kids come down with the same symptoms a handful of hours after me (and they ate it about the same interval later than I did ( Read more... )
